The Senior Programming Manager takes a broad strategic view of the programming plans and makes analyses of quantitative data in order to optimize the day-to-day and long-term TV schedules and overall performance of the Comedy Central and VIVA channels. Manages his/her team to create and continuously improve the monthly TV schedules in order to get the highest possible number of viewers on the channel and monthly viewing goals are met.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of working experience in a planning, programming or research environment within TV/media on a similar position
- Previous experience leading a team is a plus
- University or bachelor degree in Media, Communication or Research (such as mathematics, statistics, sociology)
- Strong knowledge and passion for the media landscape and TV formats
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially with Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: must be fluent in English
