- Editorial content
- Responsible for all PL editorial content on redbull.com, focusing also on short-video content apart from the written world
- Recruit and manage a team of freelance writers/editors
- Craft and enforce our editorial tone of voice
- Create original editorial content
- Ensure Red Bull events and projects are represented on the site with credible and engaging story angles
- Ensure the highest quality standards across the website
- Manage the editorial calendar
- Manage the homepage and key sub-homepages
- Operating in the Red Bull’s CMS
- Drive traffic
- Create must-click-must-share content to drive traffic and encourage social engagement
- Optimize content for search and social channels
- Build editorial partnerships to increase traffic referrals and content distribution
- Build loyalty
- Implement a strategy to drive repeat visits to redbull.com
- Maintain a strong editorial plan for our core channels
- Maximize data collection opportunities across the site
- Innovate
- Create new formats to engage users and keep Red Bull ahead of the curve
- Stay up to date with technology and social trends to ensure content is delivered to the user in the right way for the right devices/platforms
- Position redbull.com as a media platform, not just a brand site
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree
- Language skills:
- Perfect written Polish. Excellent spelling and grammar.
- Very good English – able to communicate with international athletes and partners
- Minimum 3 – 5 years experience at a senior editorial level within an online portal and managing editorial team, online news outlet or online magazine,
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sports journalism
- Experience in online media is mandatory: digital media departments of media/publishing companies or pure online players.
- A strong knowledge of the PL editorial landscape and key players – editorial contacts
- Must be able to write and edit high quality, engaging copy at speed
- Excellent knowledge of social media and tactics to engage users with content on social channels
- Strong SEO skills
- A knowledge and passion for the core content areas in which Red Bull participates
- Driving license
